Over six thrilling days, more than 530,000 enthusiastic fans packed the Stade de France, making the event a resounding success. Osea Kolinisau will continue as the Head Coach of the Men’s Sevens Team for the next four years. After thorough discussions involving coaches, team managers, captains, and an independent review team, it has been confirmed that Osea’s successful track record over the past few months showcases his capability and vision. He has ambitious plans that he will announce in due course, and the team aims for gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics under his leadership.

As for the Women’s Sevens Team, Saiasi Fuli’s contract will conclude in December 2024. After discussions, it has been decided to open the position for applications in order to find the best candidate to lead the women’s team into its next chapter. The new coach will be responsible for initiating and implementing a High Performance Strategy and selecting the team for the upcoming HSBC 7s series program.
