He has dismissed rumors about returning to play for a local Fijian club, instead confirming his focus on negotiations with several Indian clubs as he looks to carve out a new chapter in his football career.
The 37-year-old striker’s last season was cut short by a serious Grade 3 ACL injury that he sustained last December while playing for Odisha FC. Sharing insights with FBC Sports, Krishna expressed that while various clubs have reached out to him, his primary goal remains regaining full fitness.
“I’m feeling good, already moving well, and there is no pain,” Krishna mentioned. “I can kick the ball, so I’m almost there, but there is a process I need to follow.”
