Fijian rugby player Setareki Turagacoke, a rookie lock for the Flying Fijians, has emphasized the importance of keeping a close watch on Ireland’s talented No. 8, Caelan Doris, ahead of their upcoming match at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Speaking to SUNsports, the 18-year-old, who plays for French club Stade Francais, acknowledged Doris as one of the most formidable forwards in the Irish squad.
“Adhering to the game plan set by our coaches will be crucial if I get the opportunity to take the field against Ireland,” Turagacoke mentioned. He recognized the strength of the Irish team, pointing out that they will come with significant intensity, being one of the leading teams globally.
Although named on the bench for the match, Turagacoke expressed his admiration for Doris’ playing style and his commitment to thwarting his impact during the game. “We’ll aim to cover all gaps related to him, as they excel in their scrum techniques,” he stated.
