Two men in their twenties have been charged in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place in Tamavua last month. The Police reported that the suspects, aged 29 and 27, allegedly entered the residence of a 46-year-old man on October 30. During the incident, they reportedly stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before making their escape.
Both suspects were apprehended last week and were formally charged with aggravated robbery. They appeared in Suva Magistrates Court on November 4, 2024, where they were remanded in custody. The case has been scheduled for another mention on November 18.
