The first suspect was arrested following reports of a theft in Vatuwaqa, where a group had stolen a safe along with various electronic items from a business situated in the Lalita Bhindi Sub-Division. The Southern Division task force acted on the alert and promptly took a suspect into custody.
In the second incident, a woman was reportedly robbed while walking along Gaji Road late Saturday night. The victim pursued the suspect, and nearby officers responded effectively, leading to the arrest of the assailant, who was subsequently taken to the Raiwaqa Police Station. Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
