Fiji’s Bold Step: Tackling Climate Change with New Health Plan

The Cabinet has approved the Health National Adaptation Plan, which serves as the health sector’s response to the health effects of climate change. The plan outlines strategic approaches for adaptation and mitigation actions in Fiji’s health sector and will guide the country’s efforts on climate change and health until 2030. The Health National Adaptation Plan is set to be launched at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
