Residents in the Labasa area are informed about temporary road closures scheduled for Monday, October 7, and Thursday, October 10.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kasiano Vusonilawe, Director of Operations for the Fiji Police Force, announced that these closures are necessary for the dry run of the Fiji Day celebrations on Monday and for the actual event on Thursday.
On Monday, the roads from the junctions of Y-corner and Park Street will be closed starting at 9 a.m., while on Thursday, these roads will be closed from 6 a.m.
During these closures, the Fiji Police Force requests the public’s patience and understanding. Traffic officers will be present to manage traffic effectively.
