Residents in the Labasa area are being informed about temporary road closures that will take place on Monday, October 7, and Thursday, October 10.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kasiano Vusonilawe, the Director of Operations for the Fiji Police Force, announced that these closures are necessary for the dry run of the Fiji Day celebrations on Monday and for the main event on Thursday.
The roads from the junctions of Y-corner and Park Street will be closed starting at 9 a.m. on Monday for the dry run, and on Thursday, the same roads will be closed from 6 a.m.
The Fiji Police Force is asking the public for their patience and understanding during these times. Traffic officers will be on-site to help manage traffic flow.
