Residents in the Labasa area should prepare for temporary road closures on Monday, October 7, and Thursday, October 10.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kasiano Vusonilawe from the Fiji Police Force stated that these closures will facilitate the dry run for the Fiji Day celebrations on Monday and the actual celebration on Thursday.
On Monday, the road at the junction of Y-corner and Park Street will be closed starting at 9 a.m., while on Thursday, the same roads will be closed from 6 a.m.
During these periods, the Fiji Police Force asks the public for their patience and understanding. Traffic officers will be present to help manage the traffic flow.
