Rising Tide: 118 Sexual Offences Reported in September

Last month, authorities reported a total of 118 incidents of sexual offenses, with rape being the most frequently occurring crime, followed by indecent assault. Additional offenses included indecently insulting or annoying individuals, sexual assaults, the abduction of minors under 18, attempted rape, defilement, and assault with the intent to commit rape. Acting Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci has urged communities to collaborate with the Fiji Police Force to combat crime effectively.
