The Queensland Reds have announced their squad for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season, showcasing a blend of emerging talents and experienced players. Notable inclusions are young Australian Under-20s players Trevor King and Will McCulloch, who are stepping up to the senior team following their promising performances.

The squad features 19 individuals with Test experience, comprising 18 Wallabies and former All Blacks prop Jeffery Toomaga-Allen. Twelve members have amassed over 50 caps with the Reds, including co-captain Tate McDermott, who enters the season with 91 appearances. Veteran players returning to the team include lock Lukhan Salakaia-Loto and outside back Filipo Daugunu.

Several new signings, such as Lachie Anderson, Josh Canham, Matt Gibbon, and Mason Gordon, have already integrated into the squad through the Reds International Program. Meanwhile, 19-year-old Trevor King and 20-year-old McCulloch are among the exciting new faces, along with Jude Gibbs, a 23-year-old utility back from Sydney.

The Reds International Program has proven effective in preparing younger players for the demands of Super Rugby. For instance, teenage centre Dre Pakeho has enhanced his skills by competing against international teams, showcasing the program’s success.
