Discipline and enthusiasm have driven Muizz Mujib Buksh to achieve significant honors at the Vunimoli Islamia College (VIC) prizegiving ceremony held on Wednesday.
As the head boy of VIC in Labasa, Muizz received several prestigious awards, including the Leadership Award, recognition for obtaining the highest mark in Agricultural Science, an athletics award, and a special commendation for his involvement with the school’s football team.
Currently in year 13, Muizz boasts a commendable athletic record. He recently won gold in the 3000 meters at the Macuata athletics zone two competition and competed in the 3000m final at the Coca-Cola Games.
When discussing how he manages both academics and sports, Muizz attributed his success to the supportive guidance of his parents. He holds a firm belief that “nothing is impossible,” which fuels his ambition to motivate his peers to pursue their dreams and elevate the reputation of their school.
