Discipline and passion have paved the way for Muizz Mujib Buksh, who has achieved remarkable success, receiving several prestigious awards during the Vunimoli Islamia College (VIC) prizegiving ceremony held on Wednesday. As the head boy of VIC in Labasa, Muizz was honored with the Leadership Award, accolades for achieving the highest mark in Agricultural Science, an athletics award, and special recognition for his contributions to the school’s football team.
Currently in Year 13, Muizz has a distinguished record in athletics. He celebrated a gold medal in the 3000 meters at the Macuata athletics zone two competition and participated in the 3000m final at the renowned Coca-Cola Games.
In discussing how he manages his academic studies alongside his sports commitments, Muizz acknowledged the invaluable support of his parents. His personal motto, “nothing is impossible,” serves as motivation, encouraging him to inspire his classmates to pursue their dreams and contribute to the pride of their school.
