Reflecting on his experience, Vocevoce expressed how beneficial it has been to be alongside veteran players. “We want to keep building and try to be the best like them,” he stated. His time on the field against Scotland, which resulted in a challenging 57–17 loss, provided him with critical insights into performing at this level.
Vocevoce noted that the experience was enlightening, allowing him to embrace his playing style while heeding his family’s encouragement to play fiercely, listen to coaching strategies, and enjoy the game. He also mentioned that he had watched clips of Fiji’s narrow defeat to Wales (32–26) in the previous World Cup, which serves as motivation for the upcoming encounter.

Vocevoce has reached out to Flying Fijian supporters worldwide for their prayers, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to play alongside athletes he admired growing up. “We just need to learn from our mistakes against Scotland and focus on the next game,” he concluded, displaying a hopeful attitude heading into the match against Wales.
