Muizz Mujib Buksh has achieved a remarkable feat at the recent prizegiving ceremony at Vunimoli Islamia College (VIC) in Labasa, showcasing his discipline and passion. As the school’s head boy, Muizz was honored with several awards, including the prestigious Leadership Award, top marks in Agricultural Science, an athletics award, and special recognition for his contributions to the school’s football team.

A Year 13 student, Muizz has an impressive athletic background, highlighted by his gold medal victory in the 3000 meters at the Macuata athletics zone two competition, as well as his participation in the finals of the 3000m race at the Coca-Cola Games. His ability to excel both academically and in sports can be attributed to the strong guidance of his parents.

Muizz expresses a profound belief that “nothing is impossible,” a mantra that drives him to inspire his classmates to pursue their dreams and elevate the profile of their school through their own achievements. He is thankful for the support he has received from teachers, parents, and peers, contributing to his successes thus far.

Looking ahead, Muizz has ambitions of becoming a veterinarian and has applied to Massey University in New Zealand for further education next year. His drive and diverse talents make him an exemplary role model for fellow students striving to harmonize their ambitions with their responsibilities.

This inspiring story not only highlights Muizz’s achievements but also emphasizes the importance of perseverance and support from family and community. As he embarks on his journey to higher education, his aspirations serve as a motivation for many young people to follow their passions while uplifting those around them.
