Aliana Vakaloloma is a promising young talent in women’s soccer. At only 15 years old, she caught attention during a match where the Digicel Fiji Young Kulas faced the Costa Rican U20 Women’s team. Despite the team’s 2-0 loss, Vakaloloma, the youngest player on the Fijian squad, delivered an impressive performance as goalkeeper.
Vakaloloma, who joined the Young Kulas just two weeks before the match, made numerous outstanding saves against the aggressive Costa Rican attackers, showcasing her agility, reflexes, and composure despite the pressure. Currently, she plays year-round for the Spokane Shadow 08 Girls Academy, where she continues to develop her skills.
