Aleeza Raza, a defender for the Digicel Fiji Future Kulas, was awarded Player of the Match following Fiji’s 1-0 victory against Solomon Islands in the 5th/6th place playoff at the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship held at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The 15-year-old, who was born in Sydney to parents from Labasa, demonstrated exceptional effort and tenacity throughout all four matches of the tournament.
Her family, present in the stands to support her, beamed with pride as she executed crucial plays that contributed to Fiji’s fifth-place finish in the competition.
