Aleeza Raza, a defender for the Digicel Fiji Future Kulas, was awarded Player of the Match during Fiji’s 1-0 victory over the Solomon Islands in the 5th/6th place playoff at the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship held at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The 15-year-old, who was born in Sydney to Fijian parents from Labasa, demonstrated remarkable effort and tenacity throughout the tournament, contributing significantly in all four matches.
Raza’s family proudly supported her from the stands as she executed key plays that were instrumental in leading Fiji to a fifth-place finish in the competition.
