Aleeza Raza, a defender for the Digicel Fiji Future Kulas, was named Player of the Match following Fiji’s 1-0 victory over the Solomon Islands in the fifth and sixth place playoff of the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The 15-year-old, who was born in Sydney to parents from Labasa, exhibited exceptional determination and effort throughout all four matches of the tournament.
Her family, present in the stands, proudly watched as she made crucial contributions that led to Fiji securing a fifth-place finish in the event.
