A 28-year-old man faces charges for allegedly raping his 5-year-old niece, according to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
This individual was among ten people who were charged with a total of 25 sexual offenses in September. The ODPP reported that there were ten victims last month, with eight of them being under 18 years old. Notably, six of the cases involved situations where the victims and the accused were related.
In a separate case, a 29-year-old man was charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault involving his 15-year-old niece.
Additionally, a 46-year-old man was charged with two counts of raping his 41-year-old wife.
Another incident involved a 20-year-old man facing four counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of indecent assault, and one count of sexual assault against his 17-year-old cousin.
A 20-year-old man was also charged with the rape of his 10-year-old male cousin, while a 25-year-old man was charged with the rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy.
Further charges were brought against a 29-year-old man for attempted rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl from his village, as well as against a 20-year-old man for the rape of an 11-year-old girl from his village.
