Rewa midfielder Tevita Waranaivalu has been awarded the inaugural Golden Ball in the Digicel Fiji Premier League, recognizing him as the season’s most outstanding footballer. Waranaivalu played a crucial role in nearly all of Rewa’s 18 matches, contributing significantly to the team’s success in securing its second title and earning a spot in the OFC Champions League in 2025. He has also consistently performed for the Digicel Bula Boys throughout the season and is expected to be a vital player for the Delta Tigers in their semifinal matchup against Navua in the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) today. The Rewa vs. Navua semifinal is scheduled for 4:30 PM, following the first semifinal between Labasa and Nadi at 2 PM.
