Rewa is close to clinching the 2024 Digicel Fiji Premier League title, needing just one win from their two remaining matches. The Delta Tigers, sponsored by Extra Supermarket, currently lead the standings with 37 points and are set to face Nadi in Round 17, followed by Rooster Ba in their final match of the season.
In second place, Extra Supermarket Labasa still harbors a slim chance of winning their first-ever League title. The Babasiga Lions are five points behind Rewa and must win both of their remaining games against Ba and Navua, while also relying on Rewa to lose both of theirs.
The DFPL is slated to conclude in two weeks, allowing teams sufficient time to prepare for the FMF Inter District Championship in Lautoka, scheduled for mid-October.
