In contrast, second-placed Extra Supermarket Labasa holds a slim opportunity to secure their first-ever league title. The Babasiga Lions are trailing Rewa by five points and must win both of their remaining matches against Ba and Navua, while also hoping for Rewa to lose both of theirs.
The DFPL is scheduled to conclude in two weeks, providing districts sufficient time to prepare for the FMF Inter District Championship set to take place in Lautoka in mid-October.
