Rewa is on the brink of securing the 2024 Digicel Fiji Premier League title, needing just one win from their final two matches. The Extra Supermarket-sponsored Delta Tigers currently lead the standings with 37 points and will play against Nadi in Round 17, followed by a match against Rooster Ba to conclude the season.
In second place, Extra Supermarket Labasa still holds a faint hope of claiming their first League title. The Babasiga Lions trail Rewa by five points and must win both their remaining games against Ba and Navua, while relying on Rewa to lose both of theirs.
The DFPL is set to wrap up in two weeks, allowing teams time to prepare for the FMF Inter District Championship scheduled to take place in Lautoka in mid-October.
