In the meantime, Extra Supermarket Labasa, sitting in second place, has a slim chance of claiming their first-ever league title. The Babasiga Lions are trailing by five points, necessitating victories in both of their remaining matches against Ba and Navua. Additionally, Labasa must rely on Rewa losing both of their upcoming matches.
The DFPL is projected to conclude in two weeks, allowing teams sufficient time to prepare for the FMF Inter District Championship in Lautoka scheduled for mid-October.
