Rewa demonstrated their superiority by overwhelming nearby rivals Nasinu with a 4-0 win in their Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 13 match at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.
Although Nasinu initially showcased solid football in the first half, they faltered under pressure, allowing Rewa’s Captain Setareki Hughes to score the solitary opening goal.
In the second half, the Delta Tigers took control of the game, netting three additional goals from Solomon Islander John Orobulu, Iosefo Verevou, and Tevita Waranaivalu.
With this victory, Rewa reaches a total of 30 points, placing them three points ahead of second-placed Labasa, while Nasinu has dropped to ninth place with only 12 points.
