Rewa has solidified their lead in the Digicel Fiji Premier League with a tough 2-0 win against Lautoka in Round 16 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

The match commenced with both teams exhibiting strong physical play. However, Lautoka faced a setback when Antonio Tuivuna received a red card just before halftime, leaving his team with ten players.

Tevita Waranivalu took advantage of this situation, converting two penalties in the first half to secure a vital victory for Rewa.

This win reinforces Rewa’s top position in the league standings with 37 points, while Labasa sits in second place with 32 points and Lautoka is in third with 28 points, as the season heads into its final two rounds.
