Rewa’s rugby team achieved a hard-earned victory against Lakeba, finishing the match with a score of 23-14 in the Cabenilotu Shield Challenge held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori yesterday.
The game was intensely competitive, with Lakeba holding a slight edge at halftime, leading 14-13. However, Rewa came back strong in the second half, finding their rhythm and executing crucial plays that ultimately secured their triumph.
Head coach Iakobo Bose, who is also a former captain of Rewa, praised the team’s performance, referring to it as a fantastic match.
