Rewa, the league leaders, were held to a goalless draw by Navua during a Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 14 match at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.
Under the guidance of coach Roderick Singh, the Delta Tigers welcomed back Solomon Islands defender Leon Kofana, having all their key players available. Attacker Jackson Wale made his return for Navua.
John Orobulu was dynamic, creating opportunities in both halves; however, he was unable to find the net as Jovilisi Borisi kept his goal secure. Thomas Dunn, Filipe Baravilala, and Simione Damuni posed a threat to Rewa’s defense with some solid attacks.
With this result, Extra Supermarket Rewa remains the top team with 31 points, while Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies Navua, now with 19 points, occupies the sixth position.
