Rewa showcased their strength with a commanding 4-0 victory over rivals Nasinu during the Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 13 match at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.
While Nasinu showed promise in the first half, they struggled under Rewa’s pressure, leading to Captain Setareki Hughes scoring the only goal of the half.
In the second half, the Delta Tigers took control, netting three additional goals from Solomon Islander John Orobulu, Iosefo Verevou, and Tevita Waranaivalu.
With this win, Rewa now stands at 30 points, maintaining a three-point lead over second-placed Labasa, while Nasinu has fallen to ninth place with a total of 12 points.
