Champions Rewa concluded their Digicel Fiji Premier League season with an impressive 3-1 victory against Ba at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Namosau.
After a 1-1 tie at halftime, the Delta Tigers exhibited a strong performance in the second half. Epeli Valevou netted a goal for Rewa, while Penaia Nagatalevu scored for Ba.
Asivorosi Rabo gave Rewa the lead shortly after the halftime break, after which three red cards were issued. Rewa’s captain Setareki Hughes, Ba’s goalkeeper Misiwani Nairube, and Mitieli Naivro were all sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Tevita Waranaivalu sealed Ba’s fate by scoring a well-executed penalty just before the match concluded.
