Rewa FC showcased their strength against local rivals Nasinu, securing a decisive 4-0 win in their Round 13 matchup of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.
Although Nasinu started strong, displaying promising football in the first half, they ultimately faltered under pressure. Rewa’s captain, Setareki Hughes, managed to find the net for the only goal of the first half.
In the second half, the Delta Tigers took control of the match, netting three additional goals from players John Orobulu from the Solomon Islands, Iosefo Verevou, and Tevita Waranaivalu.
With this victory, Rewa has climbed to 30 points, establishing a three-point lead over second-placed Labasa, while Nasinu now finds itself in ninth place with just 12 points.
