Rewa demonstrated their strength against local rivals Nasinu, securing a decisive 4-0 victory in their Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 13 match at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
While Nasinu began the match with promising play, they ultimately succumbed to Rewa’s pressure, allowing captain Setareki Hughes to net the first goal.
In the second half, Rewa took control of the game, adding three more goals from Solomon Islander John Orobulu, Iosefo Verevou, and Tevita Waranaivalu to seal the win.
With this victory, Rewa has accumulated 30 points, maintaining a three-point lead over second-placed Labasa, while Nasinu has fallen to ninth place with 12 points.
