In second place, Extra Supermarket Labasa still holds a faint hope of securing their first-ever League title. The Babasiga Lions trail Rewa by five points and must win both of their matches against Ba and Navua while hoping that Rewa loses both of theirs.
The DFPL is anticipated to conclude in two weeks, providing teams with sufficient time to prepare for the FMF Inter District Championship, scheduled to take place in Lautoka in mid-October.
