Rewa is close to securing the 2024 Digicel Fiji Premier League title, needing just one win from their final two matches. The Delta Tigers, sponsored by Extra Supermarket, currently lead the standings with 37 points and are set to face Nadi in Round 17, followed by a match against Rooster Ba.
In contrast, Extra Supermarket Labasa, positioned second, still has a slim chance of claiming their first League title. The Babasiga Lions trail Rewa by five points and must win both of their remaining matches against Ba and Navua while hoping that Rewa loses both of theirs.
The DFPL is anticipated to conclude in two weeks, allowing teams sufficient time to prepare for the FMF Inter District Championship in Lautoka, scheduled for mid-October.
