Rewa, currently leading the standings, played to a goalless draw against Navua in a Round 14 match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League today at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
The Delta Tigers, coached by Roderick Singh, welcomed back Solomon Islands defender Leon Kofana, and all key players were available. Attacker Jackson Wale also made his return for Navua.
Despite several opportunities created by the speedy John Orobulu in both halves, he was unable to find the net, while his teammates Thomas Dunn, Filipe Baravilala, and Simione Damuni posed a threat to Rewa’s defense with a few decent breaks.
As a result of the match, Extra Supermarket Rewa remains at the top of the table with 31 points, while Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies Navua occupies the sixth position with 19 points.
