Rewa football team anticipates the return of defender Kavaia Rawaqa and midfielder Kishan Sami, as confirmed by Rewa football’s president Nazil Buksh during the upcoming mid-season transfer window.

Currently, Rawaqa is in training with the squad. Despite his participation in the team’s training, he might not be able to join the Round 11 of the DFPL this Sunday due to unresolved release formalities.

Back in January, Rawaqa’s initial transfer request from Suva to Rewa was denied due to Fiji FA regulations, stating players must remain with their new team for a minimum of 12 months. At that point, Rawaqa hadn’t completed the mandatory period yet.

Concerning Kishan Sami’s transfer from Lautoka, Lautoka FA President Shalendra Prasad stated that an in-house inquiry is in progress before any player’s release can be considered.

Rewa’s home team, Delta Tigers, will be hosting Suva at their home ground, Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, at 3pm.
