Rewa is preparing to welcome back defender Kavaia Rawaqa and midfielder Kishan Sami during the mid-season transfer window. Rewa football president Nazil Buksh confirmed this development.

While Rawaqa is already training with the squad, he may not be able to play in Round 11 of the DFPL this Sunday due to pending release formalities.

Rawaqa’s initial transfer request from Suva to Rewa in January was blocked by Fiji FA regulations, which mandate that players must stay with their new team for at least 12 months. At that time, Rawaqa had not completed the required period.

As for Kishan Sami’s transfer from Lautoka, Lautoka FA President Shalendra Prasad mentioned that an internal investigation is underway before they can release the player.

The Delta Tigers will host Suva at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.
