Rewa FC has been placed in a challenging group for the upcoming 2025 OFC Champions League. Under the guidance of coach Roderick Singh, the Delta Tigers find themselves in Group A, competing against formidable opponents including Auckland City, the reigning champions from New Zealand, AS Tiga Sport from New Caledonia, and either AS Tefana or AS Pirae from Tahiti.
The group matches are scheduled to take place from March 30 to April 12 in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Last season, Rewa’s journey in the tournament ended in the semifinals when they faced AS Pirae, succumbing to a 4-2 defeat.
Looking ahead, while the competition is tough, this could be an opportunity for Rewa to show their resilience and skill on a larger stage. The experience gained from past outings will be crucial as they prepare to compete against some of the best teams in the region. With determination and strategic gameplay, Rewa could potentially surprise their opponents and strive for a successful campaign in the tournament.
