The Extra Supermarket Rewa football team faces a challenging path in the upcoming OFC (Oceania Football Confederation) Men’s Champions League 2025. As representatives of Fiji, Rewa has been placed in Group A alongside distinguished clubs from New Zealand, Tahiti, and New Caledonia. Meanwhile, Group B consists of top teams from Vanuatu, the OFC Qualifying tournament, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.
The group draws were held recently at the OFC Home of Football, Te Kahu o Kiwa, located in Auckland, New Zealand. In addition, three teams, Royal Puma FC from American Samoa, Vaipuna SC from Samoa, and Tupapa Maraerenga FC from the Cook Islands, will compete in the Champions League qualifying tournament in the Cook Islands from February 8-14. The winner of this qualifying event will proceed to the prestigious OFC Men’s Champions League 2025, set to take place in Honiara, Solomon Islands, from March 30 to April 12.
As Rewa prepares for this competitive tournament, the challenge could inspire the team to elevate their performance and gain invaluable experience on an international stage.
