Rewa Faces Tough Competition in 2025 OFC Champions League Group A

Spread the love

Rewa FC has once again found itself in a challenging group for the upcoming 2025 OFC Champions League. Under the management of head coach Roderick Singh, the Delta Tigers are placed in Group A alongside the reigning champions Auckland City from New Zealand, AS Tiga Sport from New Caledonia, and either AS Tefana or AS Pirae from Tahiti.

The group matches are scheduled to take place from March 30 to April 12 in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Rewa will be aiming to advance further than last season when they faced a disappointing exit in the semifinals, losing 4-2 to AS Pirae.

This year’s formidable lineup presents a significant challenge, but it also provides an opportunity for Rewa to demonstrate their strength and resilience on the regional stage. By competing against some of the best teams in the Oceania Football Confederation, Rewa can gain valuable experience and possibly improve its performance from the previous year.

Overall, while the road ahead appears tough, it can also serve as a motivator for Rewa FC to elevate their game and strive for success in the upcoming tournament.
