Rewa Faces Tough Challenge in 2025 OFC Champions League Group Stage

The Extra Supermarket Rewa football team faces a challenging road in the upcoming 2025 OFC (Oceania Football Confederation) Men’s Champions League, as they prepare to represent Fiji. They have been assigned to Group A, where they will compete against reigning champion clubs from New Zealand, Tahiti, and New Caledonia. Meanwhile, Group B features strong teams from Vanuatu, the OFC Qualifying tournament, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.

The group draws took place yesterday at the OFC Home of Football—Te Kahu o Kiwa in Auckland, New Zealand. Additionally, a qualifying tournament for the Champions League will be held in the Cook Islands from February 8 to 14, featuring Royal Puma FC from American Samoa, Vaipuna SC from Samoa, and Tupapa Maraerenga FC from the Cook Islands. The victor of this tournament will earn a spot in the main competition, which is scheduled to occur in Honiara, Solomon Islands, from March 30 to April 12.
