Sydney Rewa triumphed over New Zealand with a decisive 3-0 victory in the second Premier quarterfinal of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex today. Under the guidance of Fiji’s assistant coach Marika Rodu, Rewa dominated the match, going into halftime with a 1-0 lead thanks to a penalty converted by Vinit Chand.
In the second half, Aman Singh and Alvin Singh both found the net with impressive goals, capitalizing on mistakes made by Nadroga. The Rewa team featured players such as Aakash Sharma, Delon Shankar, and Madhwan Goundar, while Nadroga, coached by O’Neill Chand, included notable players like Shahil Dave, Pawan Singh, Akshay Shandil, and Jeshal Kumar.
