Rewa has secured a place in the semifinals of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) after defeating Nadi 3-0 in their second Group B match at Churchill Park in Lautoka today. Following a decisive 7-0 victory against Nadroga the previous day, the team led by coach Roderick Singh was aggressive from the start. Solomon Islander John Orobulu opened the scoring in the 26th minute, elevating his tournament tally to six goals.
Rewa went into halftime with a 1-0 lead, and left-back Ivan Kumar scored a stunning goal in the 61st minute with a powerful shot that left goalkeeper Joela Biuvanua unable to react. The victory was capped off when substitute striker Asivorosi Rabo added a third goal in the 77th minute with a precise finish.
