The race for the Digicel Fiji Premier League title is intensifying, with Extra Supermarket Rewa holding onto their lead after securing a 3-0 win against Nadroga last night.
Currently, Rewa dominates the standings with 34 points, while Extra Supermarket Labasa is in second place with 29 points. Flick Hygiene Lautoka is close behind in third with 28 points after their 4-2 victory over Ba earlier this week.
This weekend features an exciting lineup of matches at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori. The action kicks off with Navua taking on Tailevu Naitasiri at 11am, followed by Suva competing against Nadroga at 1pm. The highlight of the day will be the clash between league leaders Rewa and third-placed Lautoka at 3pm.
Additional matches include Extra Supermarket Labasa FC hosting Nasinu FC at Subrail Park in Labasa on Saturday at 1:30pm, and Rooster Chicken Ba FC going up against Nadi FC on Sunday at 3pm at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba.
