Rewa Football Club, the National League champions and semifinalists in the OFC Champions League, garnered five prestigious awards at the 2024 Extra Supermarket sponsored Fiji FA Awards Night held in Nadi.

Among the standout winners, midfielder Ratu Tevita Waranaivalu was honored as the 2024 Male Footballer of the Year, while Adi Litia Bakaniceva received the accolade for the 2024 Female Footballer of the Year. The club’s president, Nazeel Buksh, was named Administrator of the Year, further solidifying the team’s strong presence in Fijian football, and the Delta Tigers were recognized as the Team of the Year.

In addition to these top honors, Adi Vikatoria Veronika earned the Female Futsal Player of the Year award, showcasing the diverse talent within the sport. Other notable winners included Tavua’s Dr. Diva Singh as Coach of the Year, Lautoka’s Aporosa Yada for Goal of the Year, and Labasa’s Mohammed Kaseem as Volunteer of the Year. The awards also celebrated individuals from futsal, with Lami’s Ravneel Pal being named Male Futsal Player of the Year. Young talents were acknowledged as well, with Sterling Vasconcellos and Elesi Tabunase recognized as Young Footballers of the Year in their respective categories.
