Revolutionizing Medical Care: New Consultancy Service Launched

Lautoka businessman Khazim Mohammed has inaugurated DocTrip India, a medical consultancy service, which is connected to four major hospitals in India.

Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad, who officiated the opening ceremony in Lautoka, emphasized that the launch of DocTrip would facilitate access to tertiary medical care, which is not readily available in the country.

“We are fortunate that the Indian government is set to build a 100-bed super specialty hospital in Nasinu,” said Prasad. “We hope that construction will commence soon and be completed within the next two years.”

DocTrip India director Khazim Mohammed expressed his enthusiasm about offering this service to the local community. “I lost my mother some time ago due to the lack of a clear pathway for overseas medical treatment. I don’t want anyone else to lose loved ones because of medical issues,” he said.

Mohammed disclosed that the four top Indian hospitals under his consultancy are BLK-MAX Hospital, Metro Hospital, Fortis Hospital, and Apollo Hospitals.

He further mentioned that he has invested close to $30,000 into DocTrip India.
