PSH Hospitals has established itself as Fiji’s leading affordable private healthcare provider, offering general practitioner (GP) consultations for a mere $11.50, accessible around the clock every day of the year. Additionally, registered sugarcane farmers participating in the Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) loyalty program benefit from an even lower rate of $7.50 for GP consultations, a discount that is also available to all verified farmers across various agricultural sectors.
Founded in Suva in 2017, PSH Hospitals has expanded its services to Nadi, featuring a state-of-the-art 130-bed facility that is significantly enhancing healthcare access in the region. The hospital is known for performing intricate surgeries, including open-heart surgeries and brain tumor removals, at a fraction of the cost typically charged by other private providers in the area.
Parvish Kumar, the hospital’s founder and CEO, emphasized the hospital’s commitment to providing affordable and world-class healthcare to all. Looking ahead, the hospital plans to introduce flexible payment options and free treatments for individuals facing specific financial hardships.
Kumar stated, “No other private facility in the Pacific is offering these kinds of incentives, but at PSH Hospitals, we are committed to saving lives and making healthcare accessible to everyone.”
This initiative aims not just to enhance healthcare availability but also to ensure that even those with limited financial resources can receive essential medical care. With its innovative approach, PSH Hospitals is leading the way towards a more inclusive healthcare model in the region.
