Reviving Faith: A New Mega Church for 40,000 Revealed!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) has announced plans to construct a church that can accommodate a congregation of 40,000 individuals. This information was shared by ANCF general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held last Friday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

Rev. Ratabacaca explained that the tournament serves as a fundraising effort for this ambitious project. He noted that the church will be built on a 25-acre plot of land and will be designed to host events for all Christian denominations.

“Our goal is to create a facility that serves the entire body of Christ. We are thankful to God for selecting us to spearhead this initiative,” he stated. He emphasized that the facility will not only benefit ANCF members but will also be available for other Christian groups to use for conferences and gatherings.

Rev. Ratabacaca expressed his concerns over utilizing sports grounds for worship purposes, stating, “A recent Methodist Church Conference held at Vodafone Arena in Suva almost cost half a million for just one week.” He criticized the use of sports venues like Vodafone Arena for Christian events, pointing out that attendees often face uncomfortable conditions during inclement weather.

“This new facility is intended to provide a comfortable and dedicated space for worship,” he added.
