Revitalized Yatule Resort Set to Make Waves in Fiji’s Tourism Scene

The Yatule Resort and Spa, located on Natadola Beach, is preparing for its grand reopening on Monday after undergoing a significant $10 million renovation.

Recently, a team from Tourism Fiji visited the resort and praised its new look. Brent Hill, the chief executive officer of Tourism Fiji, commended resort manager Damen Goundar and his team for their successful transformation of the property, expressing enthusiasm for the official opening on September 9.

Hill emphasized that such renovations signal a bright future for Fiji’s tourism sector, which is attracting interest from both local and international investors. He noted that these investments lead to job creation and foster growth in related industries, showcasing the confidence investors have in Fiji’s tourism landscape.

Goundar announced that the resort is completely booked for September and is looking forward to hosting the upcoming event known as ‘Tourism Share: A Collaborative Evening.’ This event will include notable attendees from the tourism sector, such as Deputy Prime Ministers, Minister for Finance Biman Prasad, Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Viliame Gavoka, and Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica, who will explore important trends and opportunities within the industry.

The staff, who were temporarily assigned to other sister properties during the refurbishment, are ready to return to the resort as it prepares for its reopening.
